AmpereHour Energy, a leading full-stack battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions provider, has announced the inauguration of its new BESS manufacturing and integration facility in Chakan, Pune.
In a release, AmpereHour Energy said that the facility marks a strategic milestone in the company’s evolution from a BESS technology integrator to an advanced manufacturing platform, bringing together containerized Battery DC-AC Block integration, proprietary software intelligence and digital quality validation to deliver safer, smarter and future-ready energy storage systems.
The new facility will focus on the integration of Make in India cabinet and containerized Battery DC-AC Blocks for utility-scale as well as commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage applications. Designed with a planned manufacturing capacity of 5 GWh, the facility strengthens India’s domestic energy storage ecosystem by combining localized manufacturing, advanced engineering capabilities and digital innovation.
Software intelligence
As renewable energy adoption accelerates across India, utilities and industries require energy storage systems that are not only scalable but also intelligent, reliable and digitally validated. While battery manufacturing has traditionally focused on hardware assembly, AmpereHour’s platform integrates software intelligence, engineering expertise and factory-level digital validation into every system before deployment.
At the heart of the platform is AH-Suite, AmpereHour’s digital Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and quality management platform, which enables complete system traceability, performance validation and faster commissioning from factory to field. Combined with the company’s proprietary ELINA Energy Management System (EMS), customers benefit from greater operational visibility, improved safety, enhanced grid performance and long-term asset reliability.
