Atlanta Electricals wins multiple orders worth Rs.288 crore

Atlanta Electricals Ltd (AEL) has announced the winning of multiple transformer supply orders, aggregating Rs.288 crore.

In a release, AEL said it has won a total of five orders – two from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL) and three from an independent power producer (IPP) that is executing a project for NTPC.

 

These orders, executable over the next 12 months, have taken Atlanta Electricals’ outstanding order book position to Rs.2,787 crore.

 

The two orders from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., worth Rs.146 crore, comprise the supply of 13 transformers that include six 100 MVA, 220/110kV power transformers and seven 150 MVA, 220/66kV power transformers, along with 11 Nitrogen Injection Fire Protection Systems (NIFPS).

The other three orders from an IPP who is executing a project for NTPC in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra & Andhra Pradesh, worth Rs.142 crore, comprise the supply of ten 125 MVA, 220kV power transformers and five 100 MVA, 220/33kV power transformers.

 

Robust momentum

According to Niral Patel, Chairman & Managing Director, Atlanta Electricals Ltd, “These order wins reflect the robust momentum in India’s power sector, where both generation and transmission & distribution segments are witnessing strong growth. This upcycle is translating into a sustained surge in transformer demand and a healthy order pipeline in the months ahead. The NTPC order, in particular, adds an optimal balance between utility and private sector projects. We remain committed to strengthening the nation’s power infrastructure through advanced transformer solutions, while enhancing capacity utilisation across our expanded manufacturing base.”

 

Order book

During Q3FY26, Atlanta Electricals witnessed new order intake of Rs.796 crore taking the unexecuted order book to Rs.2,451 crore as of December 31, 2025.
