The cables and switchgear business divisions of Havells India Ltd recorded significant year-on-year growth during Q1FY26 – a challenging quarter.
Revenues from the cables business touched Rs.1,933 crore in Q1FY26, up 27.1 per cent from Rs.1,521 crore in Q1FY25.
The share of the cables business in the company’s overall revenue stood at 35.5 per cent in Q1FY26, as against 26.2 per cent in Q1FY25.
Similarly, the switchgear business recorded a 9.3 per cent growth with revenues growing from Rs.576 crore in Q1FY25 to Rs.630 crore in Q1FY26.

Challenging quarter
Commenting on the financial performance, Anil Rai Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, Havells India Limited, said, “Q1 was a challenging quarter with unexpected weak summer impacting the overall performance, however we feel this is transitory and expect both revenue growth and margin improvements over ensuing quarters.”
