Kalpataru Power Transmission: Order intake in FY23 nudges Rs.7,000 crore

The cumulative order intake of Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) in ongoing fiscal year FY23, up to around November 4, 2022, stood at nearly Rs.7,000 crore.

In a release announcing new order wins, KPTL said that its order intake in the current fiscal year FY23, up to around November 4, 2022, stood at Rs.6,890 crore.

The latest reported orders, aggregating Rs.1,290 crore, were clinched by KPTL and its international subsidiaries. These included overseas power T&D orders, domestic oil & gas pipeline orders and a mandate for domestic railway-related works.

Commenting on the new order announcements, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said “We are delighted with the new order wins across our business verticals. The T&D orders will help us to consolidate our presence in key T&D markets like Middle East and Latin America. The new orders in the Oil & Gas and Railways business further strengthen our order book.”

“KPTL’s total order intake YTD FY23 is around Rs.6,890 crore, which reflects significant growth compared to similar period last financial year. Additionally, we have a strong L1 position and robust business visibility across all our businesses, which gives us confidence to achieve our targeted growth going forward,” Mohnot added.
