KEC International Ltd said that its current unexecuted order book, including L1 positions, was over Rs.40,000 crore.
In an investor presentation, KEC International Ltd said that its order book (including L1 positions), as of around May 26, 2026, stood at over Rs.40,000 crore with the power T&D segment clearly dominating.
As of March 31, 2026, KEC’s order book was Rs.36,267 crore, as against Rs.33,398 crore, as of March 31, 2025 – a growth of 8.5 per cent.
Here are operational highlights of KEC International during FY26:
- The power T&D business recorded orders inflow of around Rs.17,700 crore. The segment’s unexecuted order book (including L1) was Rs.25,200 crore as of May 26, 2026. This represented around 62 per cent of KEC’s total order book.
- KEC expects an overall tender pipeline of over Rs.70,000 crore in the power T&D business.
- During FY26, the company’s power T&D segment recorded revenue of Rs.15,883 crore, up 24 per cent over FY25. The share of this segment in KEC’s total FY26 revenue was around 68 per cent, as against 59 per cent in FY25.
- KEC commissioned its first ±320kV HVDC terminal project during the year. Commissioned for Adani Energy Solutions, this project will enable power transfer of 1,000 MW.
- KEC’s aggregate transmission tower manufacturing capacity was expanded by 15 per cent, now reaching over 4.8 lakh tonnes per year
- The company expects to begin production of elastomeric cables from its facility at Vadodara in Gujarat during Q2FY27 (July to September 2026). This will be followed by e-beam processed cables in the same quarter.
- KEC forayed into the wind energy segment in FY26, securing two orders aggregating over 100 MW. During the year, the company also commissioned two solar projects totaling around 1,000 MW, spread over Rajasthan and Karnataka.
