KEI Industries Ltd has reported a 44 per cent year-on-year growth in institutional sales (including exports) of wires & cables, during the first quarter (Q1: April to June) of FY26.
In an investor presentation, KEI Industries said that institutional sales (including exports) rose to Rs.1,159 crore in Q1FY26 from Rs.803 crore in Q1FY25.
Such sales also made a higher contribution to the company’s total sales – 44.77 per cent in Q1FY26 as against 38.89 per cent in Q1FY25.
Here are some more highlights of the company’s performance in Q1FY26
- Domestic institutional wire and cable sales were Rs.711 crore in Q1FY26 as against Rs.574 crore in Q1FY25
- Domestic institutional sales of EHV cable stood at Rs.116 crore in Q1FY26 as compared with Rs.79 crore in Q1FY25
- Total sales through dealer/distribution market increased by 22.21 per cent year-on-year in Q1FY26, and contributed to 51.18 per cent of total sales in Q1FY26
- Total number of active dealers of the company stood at 2,094 as of June 30, 2025
- Pending order book as of June 30, 2025 was Rs.3,921 crore
- Total net sales in Q1FY26 stood at Rs.2590.32 crore as against Rs.2065.02 crore in Q1FY25
