Linxon and Siemens announce strategic alliance for MV grid infrastructure in US

Linxon and Siemens have announced a strategic alliance agreement designed to strengthen the delivery of medium-voltage electrical infrastructure across the rapidly growing data center, renewable energy, utility, and industrial markets across the U.S.

The alliance establishes Siemens as a preferred medium-voltage equipment partner for Linxon projects across the U.S. and creates a framework for early engagement, capacity planning, pipeline visibility, and supply chain alignment, a release by Linxon said.

As demand for data centers, AI infrastructure, grid modernization, manufacturing expansion, and renewable energy continues to accelerate, owners and developers increasingly face challenges related to equipment availability, supply chain uncertainty, delivery schedules, and execution capacity. Through this alliance, Linxon and Siemens are creating a more integrated delivery model designed to increase reliability, predictability, and scalability for customers.

 

The collaboration leverages Linxon’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) expertise and execution capabilities together with Siemens’ leading portfolio of medium-voltage solutions, including switchgear, breakers, distribution equipment, protection and automation systems, digital substation technologies, and grid infrastructure solutions designed to improve reliability, visibility, and operational performance.

 

By aligning earlier in the project lifecycle, the companies intend to help customers strengthen supply chain resilience, gain earlier visibility into manufacturing capacity, improve schedule predictability, accelerate project execution, reduce procurement and integration risk, and more effectively scale large multi-site programs.

The framework is particularly well suited for large-scale data center developments, renewable energy facilities, battery storage projects, industrial campuses, and critical infrastructure programs where speed, delivery certainty, and execution performance have become decisive factors.

 

Initial focus areas include AI and hyperscale data centers, utility infrastructure, battery energy storage systems (BESS), renewable energy facilities, industrial electrification projects, and grid modernization initiatives.

 

By providing earlier engagement, greater supply chain transparency, and stronger coordination between manufacturing and EPC execution, Linxon and Siemens aim to help customers bring projects online faster while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Together, the companies are reinforcing their commitment to building the infrastructure required to support a more electrified, digital, and sustainable future, the release added.
