Skipper Ltd has announced the winning of new domestic and international orders worth Rs.1,305 crore relating to domestic and international projects.
In a release, Skipper said that the orders cover:
- Supply of transmission towers and monopoles for T&D projects in North America markets
- Two 765kV transmission line projects from a reputed domestic developer

Performance in Q1FY27
Skipper anticipates a bidding pipeline of over Rs.35,000 crore, representing domestic and international power T&D-related opportunities.
It may be mentioned that during Q1FY27, Skipper set up two wholly-owned subsidiaries in Brazil and UAE, with a similar move planned for USA.
Capacity expansion
Skipper’s current transmission tower manufacturing capacity stands at 3,75,000 tonnes per year and is spread across three units — all located in Kolkata. Further capacity expansion up of 75,000 tonnes per year is likely to commission by September 2026 (end of Q2FY27), taking the cumulative capacity to 4,50,000 tonnes per year. The company has charted a roadmap to eventually propel capacity to 6,00,000 tonnes per year by end of FY29.
