Sterlite Electric Ltd (formerly known as Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd) recorded a total order inflow of Rs.7,500 crore in FY25, bolstered by a robust Q4 performance.
In a release, Sterlite Electric said that it won its highest-ever quarterly order inflow of Rs.2,400 crore in Q4 (January to March) of FY25, taking its total FY25 volume to Rs.7,500 crore.
The order book spans high-performance conductors, power cables, optical ground wire (OPGW), and specialized EPC services, with a particular focus on advancing India’s green energy transmission infrastructure. The company also continues to expand its export footprint, particularly in the Americas, European Union, Africa, and the Middle East, with high-performance conductors and OPGW solutions.

Key Order Highlights
High-Performance Conductors & OPGW: In Q4FY25, the company received several prestigious orders. Major wins include orders for TBCB projects and supply of high-performance conductors through EPC. These are critical for enabling the evacuation of renewable power to the grid. OPGW segment witnessed enormous traction from PGCIL and state transmission utilities with repeat orders for 96F and 144F cables. Export momentum in Conductors continued across key markets in the Americas, EU, Africa and the Middle East. OPGW segment also made inroads in Europe and the Middle East.
Power Cables: Orders covering MV, HV, and EHV segments were secured from various state utilities and key clients like private Discoms, metro systems and power generation companies. Exports footprint also witnessed expansion with the company winning its first project with a 132kV smart cable solution for a renewable energy firm in South-East Asia, along with repeat orders from the Electricity Authorities from Asia and Africa. The company also secured its largest order of 220kV smart cable solution order from India’s largest private sector distribution company.
Specialized EPC Services: Specialized EPC services business secured project wins from prominent state utilities for uprating and reconductoring projects using advanced ACCC technology to boost power flow and grid stability.
