TD Power Systems: Order inflow in H1 of FY24 up 29 per cent

 

TD Power Systems Ltd has reported a year-on-year order inflow growth of 29 per cent in the first half (H1: April to September) of FY24.

In an investor presentation filed on stock exchanges, TD Power Systems said that it witnessed order inflow of Rs.493.4 crore in H1 of FY24, which was 29 per cent higher than the comparable Rs.383.8 crore in H1 of FY23.

Domestic order inflow recorded a higher growth of 49 per cent – from Rs.167.4 crore in H1 of FY23 to Rs.248.2 crore in H1 of FY24. By the same comparison, exports growth was slower, at 13 per cent. (See table).

As of September 30, 2023, TD Power Systems had an outstanding order book of Rs.1,323.5 crore with railways accounting for Rs.674.5 crore and domestic orders (non-railway) Rs.323.2 crore. The remaining was spread across exports, including deemed exports.

TDPS has a diversified product portfolio of generators customized for a wide range of turbines (steam, gas, hydro and wind) and engines (diesel and gas). These generators are specially designed and tailor-made to suit the needs of the customers

Since inception, the company has manufactured 6,066 generators aggregating 43,615 mw. TDPS has a worldwide geographical footprint covering 103 countries. TDPS manufactures AC generators with rating extending from 1 MVA to 250 MVA.
