TRIL receives order from GETCO for supply of transformers

Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd [TRIL] has reported the winning of an order from the Gujarat state transmission utility.

In a stock exchange filing, TRIL said that Gujarat Electricity Transmission Corporation Ltd (GETCO) has placed an order worth Rs.72 crore for the supply of transformers. No further details on the order were provided.

 

With this order, the cumulative order book position now stands at Rs.816 crore, TRIL said.

 

“The said orders fall under the normal course of business. The company neither has any interest in these entities that awarded the orders nor fall within related party transactions,” the statement said.

 

Performance in H2 of FY22

During the first half (April to September) of FY22, sales of 220kV-plus transformers touched 6,585 MVA – 60.5 per cent higher than the comparable level of FY21, according to a company investor presentation, recently filed on stock exchanges. Overall transformer sales in H1 of FY22 recorded a growth of nearly 16 per cent, reaching 9,908 MVA. As of September 30, 2021, TRIL had an outstanding order book position of Rs.910 crore.
