Hartek supplies over 350 LV panels for 250-mw solar plant

Hartek India Pvt Ltd, the manufacturing power distribution products business unit of Hartek Group, has successfully designed, supplied and commissioned 352 special LV panels of 800V used for solar application, for a 250-mw solar project.

The company, whilst not disclosing any other details of the order, said that Hartek-make 800V panels have successfully gone through type tests from Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) as per IEC standard 61439. These type tests involved temperature rise, IP55 and impulse withstand test

The panels have an IEC’s standardized IP55 (outdoor) product rating which provides protection against particles and a pretty good level protection against water. All of these panels adhere to the required quality guidelines and one can count on these for the safety, efficiency and maximum productivity of solar power plant.

The manufacturing division of Hartek Group manufactures complete range of electrical switchboard panels from 415V, 800V, 11kV and 33kV used in various applications like solar plants and to meet power distribution requirements of industries, utilities and building segment. It also manufactures control relay panels from its factories based in Mohali, Punjab.

In an independent recent development, the Power system and T&D business unit of Hartek Group landed a major order Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. The Rs.50-crore order entails design, engineering, manufacturing and testing at manufacturer’s work, supply of all equipment for extension, augmentation of 400/220KV substations spread across various sites in India.
