CyanConnode Holdings plc has announced the appointment of Ratna Garapati as Managing Director and CEO of CyanConnode India.
Ratna joined CyanConnode as Chief Operating Officer of CyanConnode India in November 2020, managing the company’s operations and customer delivery functions. With over twenty-eight years’ experience in implementing digital transformation processes in products and services companies, he has been instrumental in CyanConnode’s deployment of more than 1 million RF nodes in the country, a release from CyanConnode said.
Ratna’s most recent role before joining CyanConnode was as Vice President for India at Trilliant, with responsibilities including business development, strategy and operations.
Integral to company’s growth

Extensive experience
Prior to Ratna’s stint at Triliant, he was the Business Unit head and Chief Delivery Officer of Smart Energy / Smart Cities for Fluentgrid where he customised and deployed the world’s largest Cloud Utility Billing Solution in Uttar Pradesh for 22 million consumers in 6 months and demonstrated proven scalability of MDMS for 10 million smart meters.
Overall, Ratna has been involved in implementing multiple smart grid pilots in India, actively participating in the implementation of over 5 million smart meters under the Smart Meter National Programme (SMNP).
