Havells India has recorded a 11 per cent year-on-year growth in its cable business during the third quarter (Q3: October to December) of FY24.

In a release, Havells India said that its cable business grew by 11 per cent in terms of net revenue that rose from Rs.1412 crore in Q3 of FY23 to Rs.1573 crore in Q3 of FY24.

By the same comparison, its switchgear business showed a relatively subdued growth of 1 per cent and so did the lighting business (2 per cent).

Commenting on the financial performance Anil Rai Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, Havells India, said, “Consumer demand remains soft and has been partially compensated by decent growth in infrastructure led products, particularly cables and professional lighting. We continue to invest in brand building and talent.”
