Skipper Ltd has reported the winning of a major order from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL).

In a regulatory filing, Skipper said that it has won an order worth Rs.737 crore for design, supply and construction of a 765kV transmission project from PGCIL. No further details were provided.

With this order, Skipper’s cumulative order inflow in FY24 till date has crossed Rs.3,900 crore.

Commenting on the announcement, Sharan Bansal, Director, Skipper Ltd, said “We are pleased to share our latest achievement in our power transmission and distribution business, reinforcing our optimistic stance on this sector. The steady stream of orders, from PGCIL, has notably strengthened our order book in India’s transmission and distribution (T&D) domain. With a year-to-date order intake exceeding Rs.3,900 crore, these recent victories are poised to play a crucial role in propelling our anticipated growth trajectory in the times ahead.”

As reported by T&D India earlier this month, Skipper won orders worth Rs.402 crore during Q3FY24 while cumulative orders during 9MFY24 touching around Rs.3,145 crore.
