TRIL wins $16.8-million overseas orders

Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd [TRIL] has announced the winning of two overseas orders aggregating $16.8 million.

In a stock exchange filing, TRIL said that it has won two export orders for transformers with a total value of $16.8 million (around Rs.141 crore), with the following broad details:

Client: Linxon Global Sweden
Order value: $14 million
Order: 18 units of 20 MVA trackside traction transformers and 55 units of 7.5 MVA trackside auto transformers
Order completion: By October 2025

 

Client: Arcelor Mittal Mexico
Order value: $2.8 million
Order: 175 MVA, 66kV electric arc furnace (EAF) transformer
Order completion: By December 2024

 

Order book

As already reported by T&D India, TRIL witnessed an order inflow of Rs.698 crore in Q1FY25 and its order book position as of June 30, 2024 stood at Rs.2,926 crore.
