Bajel Projects Ltd has announced the winning of an order relating to 400kV GIS and 765kV AIS substations.

In a release, Bajel Projects said that the order placed by an undisclosed private sector power transmission player entails building a 400kV GIS substation and carrying out extension works at a 765kV AIS substation.

The order is valued between Rs.100 crore and Rs.200 crore, Bajel Projects said.

The order encompasses two key components for the establishment a 400kV GIS and 765kV AIS extension substation:

  1. The first part of the order involves the supply of all the EHV equipment with mandatory spares, tools, tackles and auxiliaries.
  2. The second component covers the service orders for ETC (erection, testing and commissioning) and civil works of all the materials/equipment and auxiliaries.

Robust capabilities

Commenting on this achievement, Rajesh Ganesh, MD & CEO of Bajel Projects Ltd, stated, “We are extremely pleased to secure this large order from a prominent private player in the energy and power transmission sector. This project underscores our robust capabilities in delivering large‐scale substation infrastructure. It reflects the trust our clients place in our expertise and commitment to quality.”

This order further strengthens Bajel Projects Ltd’s position as a preferred partner for critical power infrastructure development in the country, the release added.
