KEC International Ltd has reported the winning of an HVDC-related order from an undisclosed private entity.

In a release, KEC International Ltd (KEC) said that it has secured new power T&D-related orders worth Rs.1,174 crore in India and the Middle East.

These orders include a mandate for ±800kV HVDC transmission line from a leading private developer in India. The name of the entity and order details were not disclosed. The same entity also placed orders for 765kV lines, the release said.

Besides, KEC also won orders for building 380kV lines in Saudi Arabia, the release said. These new orders have taken KEC”s cumulative order inflows in FY26 to around Rs.14,000 crore.

Driving targeted growth

According to Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International, “We are delighted with the continuous success of our T&D business, reflected in a series of significant order wins. The prestigious HVDC transmission line order has significantly increased the share of orders from private developers in our India T&D order intake for the year. The large order in Saudi Arabia has further solidified our leadership in the Middle East T&D market. With the above orders, our YTD order intake stands at around Rs.14,000 crore. These orders will play a pivotal role in driving our targeted growth going forward.”

Earlier orders

It may be recalled that earlier in October 2025, KEC had reported the winning of new orders worth Rs.1,102 crore covering areas like civil works for a 150-MW private thermal power plant; supply of towers, hardware and poles in the Americas and the Middle East; and, supply of cables and conductors in India and abroad.
