Swelect Energy Systems Ltd has been recognized as “Tier-1 Solar PV Module Manufacturer” by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), the highly recognized global industry standard in classifying solar photovoltaic module manufacturers.

This landmark achievement marks yet another milestone in Swelect’s journey of solar manufacturing excellence, adding to their 30 years of experience in energy and power conditioning systems and six years in solar photovoltaic systems. SWELECT is among 34 global solar module manufacturers to have attained this Tier-1 status, a release from Swelect said.

BNEF evaluates solar PV module manufacturers based on “bankability or financial stability of the projects” as a key criteria and SWELECT’s recognition to Tier-1 rating serves as an independent validation of their performance as a “Sustainable and Reliable Solar Business Partner,” the release noted.

This recognition has been bestowed for the company’s 110-mw solar PV module manufacturing facility at Dabaspet in Bengaluru, Karnataka (in picture). The facility offers high quality, high efficiency and highly reliable solar PV modules, under the “HHV Solar” brand, at varying capacities and with international certification and compliance to IEC standards, the Swelect release added.
