Torrent Electricals has announced the expansion of its consumer business to Maharashtra with the launch of its complete wires and switchgear portfolio at a brand launch event held in Mumbai, a company release said.

The event marks a significant milestone in the company’s national expansion strategy, reinforcing its commitment to safety, reliability and future-ready electrical solutions under the fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) category.

With this launch, the company aims to progressively deepen its presence across Maharashtra, supported by a strong distribution network, in-house R&D capabilities and a sustained focus on safety-driven innovation.

Torrent Electricals announced the launch of its complete wires and switchgear portfolio, introducing FR, HRFR, FRLSH and HFFR wires alongside a comprehensive range of miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs), isolators and distribution boards.

Together, these offerings bring the company’s full suite of electrical solutions to Maharashtra, designed to meet the region’s diverse residential, commercial and industrial requirements with a strong emphasis on safety, performance and reliability, a Torrent Power release said.

Torrent Electricals is backed by the strong legacy and diversified capabilities of the Torrent Group, one of India’s leading conglomerates with a presence in over 20 states, a legacy of more than six decades, and businesses serving over 50 million customers, across power, gas, pharma, diagnostics and electrical products.

Important step

“Torrent Electricals’ launch in Maharashtra marks an important step in expanding our footprint across key Indian markets,” said Varun Mehta, Director – Torrent Group. “With the introduction of both wires and switchgears in Maharashtra, we are bringing a consolidated, safety-led product portfolio backed by the engineering excellence and trust of the Torrent Group.”
