Resonia appoints Prashant Sinha as Chief Executive Officer

Resonia Ltd has announced the appointment of Prashant Sinha as its Chief Executive Officer.

Prashant previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Resonia overseeing overall project portfolio, business acquisition and development. In this role, he played a key role in strengthening project execution and driving operational excellence across the company’s transmission portfolio, a company release said.

With nearly three decades of experience across the power, infrastructure and financial sectors, Prashant will lead Resonia’s next phase of growth with a strong focus on the development and operation of large-scale, inter and intra-regional transmission projects to support national energy security while leveraging advanced technologies to optimize operational efficiency. Under his leadership, the company will continue to strengthen its role in building reliable and scalable transmission infrastructure that enables the integration of clean energy and advances its commitment of ‘Power to the People’.

 

Disciplined execution

Commenting on the appointment, Pratik Agarwal, Chairman, Resonia, said: “Prashant brings deep sector expertise and a proven ability to execute complex infrastructure projects at scale. During his time at Resonia, he has led the advancement of mechanization in building transmission infrastructure and delivering critical power corridors across the country. His strong focus on stakeholder engagement and disciplined execution will help Resonia continue to deliver projects efficiently while supporting India’s transition towards a cleaner and more resilient energy system.”

 

Delivering reliable grid infrastructure

Speaking on his appointment, Prashant Sinha, CEO, Resonia, said: “India’s energy transition requires transmission infrastructure to expand at unprecedented scale and speed while ensuring reliability. At Resonia, we are committed to building this infrastructure responsibly and efficiently by leveraging mechanization, digital technologies, and strong partnerships with communities and stakeholders. I look forward to working with our teams and partners to deliver reliable grid infrastructure that enables the integration of renewable energy and powers sustainable growth.”

 

Leadership roles

Previously, Prashant has held leadership roles at Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency of India Limited (ICRA), L&T Infrastructure Finance, L&T Finance, Suzlon Wind Energy, and Bondbazaar. He has also held senior positions at Avera and Tata Consulting Engineers, where he managed P&L responsibility for global markets, the release noted, adding that Prashant holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and has strengthened his management capabilities at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore.
