Polycab India: Wire & Cable business revenue up 33 per cent in FY26

The wire & cable (W&C) business of Polycab India Ltd recorded a 33 per cent revenue growth in FY26.

In a release, Polycab said that its W&C business recorded revenue of Rs.25,179 crore in FY26, up 33 per cent from Rs.18,888 crore in FY25. Strong growth was witnessed in both distribution and institutional segments.

International business contributed 5.4 per cent of the consolidated revenue of the W&C business in FY26, the release said.

In a corporate presentation, Polycab India estimated that the market size of the Indian wire & cable industry to be in the range of Rs.1 trillion (Rs.1 lakh crore), accounting for 40-45 per cent of the overall electrical equipment industry.

Polycab’s share in the organized market in FY26 was estimated at 30-31 per cent, while that in the overall W&C market (including unorganized sector) was 22-23 per cent.

Commenting on the company’s performance, Inder T. Jaisinghani, Chairman & Managing Director, Polycab India Ltd, said: “FY26 has been a defining year for our company, marked by our strong execution and ability to capture domestic market share, which increased by approximately 3-4% during the year. This growth reflects the success of Project Spring, which has structurally strengthened our competitive position and enabled us to outperform the broader industry. Backed by a strong balance sheet and continued investments in capacity expansion, innovation, and distribution, we remain confident in leveraging our enhanced market presence to drive consistent, industry-leading growth in the years ahead.”
