Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) wins export excellence award

Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt Ltd (TTDI) has been honoured with the National Award for Outstanding Export Performance at the 57th EEPC India National Awards for the financial year 2024–25

This marks the seventh time the company has received this prestigious recognition, reinforcing its sustained contribution to advancing India’s engineering exports and global manufacturing competitiveness, a release by TTDI said.

TTDI secured the top honors in the “Group 10: Electrical Machinery & Parts – Large Enterprise category.”

The award was presented by Delhi Environment Minister Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa to Mr. Hiroshi Furuta, Chairman & Managing Director, TTDI. This recognition underscores TTDI’s commitment to delivering high-quality, globally competitive power transmission and distribution solutions from India, in alignment with the Government’s ‘Make in India’ vision and the country’s growing role as a global manufacturing and export hub, the release noted.

 

Unwavering commitment

Accepting the award on behalf of the company, Mr. Hiroshi Furuta, Chairman & Managing Director of TTDI, said: “We are delighted to receive this prestigious recognition from EEPC India once again. Excellence in manufacturing & exports

This latest recognition underscores TTDI’s consistent excellence in manufacturing and exporting high value engineering products, marking this the seventh time, the company has been honoured at the EEPC India National Awards. With total seven Star Performer National Awards, TTDI continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening India’s global standing in the electrical machinery and engineering exports sector.

Operating out of its state-of-the-art facility in Rudraram, Telangana, TTDI manufactures a comprehensive range of power transformers, distribution transformers, gas insulated switchgears (GIS), protection & automation systems and surge arresters. The company continues to provide value-added solutions, such as outdoor-type GIS for open installations, supporting the global shift toward renewable energy and reliable power infrastructure.
