Atlanta Electricals wins Rs.285-crore order from Punjab state transco

Atlanta Electricals Ltd has announced the winning of an order valued at Rs.285 crore from the Punjab state transmission utility.
In a release, Atlanta Electricals said that the order secured from Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd (PSTCL) is for the supply of power transformers.
As per the Letter of Award received from PSTCL, the order involves the supply of 23 units of 160 MVA, 220/66kV power transformers along with Nitrogen Injection Fire Prevention & Extinguishing System (NIFPES) and optional spares, with an aggregate order value of approximately ₹285.15 crore, including applicable taxes.

AEL in Punjab
Atlanta Electricals Ltd (AEL) commenced its association with PSTCL in 2018 and has since supplied approximately 200 transformers, with an aggregate installed capacity of around 5,000 MVA across the state of Punjab. This order further strengthens the company’s presence in a strategically important market and reinforces its capability to deliver technologically advanced power transformers to leading state utilities, the release said.
Over 100 GVA supplied
Atlanta Electricals Ltd, with over 30 years of experience, manufactures and supplies a wide range of power transformers starting from 5 MVA/11kV up to 500 MVA/765kV as well as auto transformers, inverter duty transformers, furnace transformers, generator transformers and special duty transformers in India, at its five facilities in Gujarat and Karnataka.
As of December 31, 2025, the company has supplied 4,710 transformers, totaling 1,07,229 MVA (over 107 GVA), across the country, the release said.
