Luminous launches range of solar solutions

Luminous Power Technologies has unveiled a wide range of solar solutions consisting of panels, inverter & controllers and batteries for residences and small commercial establishments. The launch took place at the recently-concluded Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2018 in Greater Noida.

At the event, Luminous also introduced solarbyluminous.com™ – a one stop solution for the consumer starting with the right design which works for their specific needs to quality workmanship in solar installations along with top of the line solar products.

The company, which incidentally is celebrating the completion of its 30 years, has identified the solar sector as a growth area where it offers consumers complete end-to-end residential solar solutions.

The solar solutions launched by Luminous include:

  • Complete solar solutions comprising of panels, inverter & controllers and batteries. This is ideal for homes and small shops.
  • Regalia—a wall mounted Lithium Ion run power back up that is solar-enabled

Luminous plans to become India’s leading provider of future-ready sustainable and energy-efficient products, a company release said. In the last 10 years alone, Luminous has invested close to Rs.1,000 crore in north India alone and it plans to significantly ramp up investment in the next 3-5 in R&D to develop innovative home electrical solutions for the India market.

Commenting on the new range, Vipul Sabharwal, Managing Director, Luminous India said “We have been taking part in this expo on year-on-year basis and it has proved to be valuable for us. Last few years we have focused on upgrade to solar, while this year we have unveiled the widest range of solar products with special emphasis on innovation.
