KEC International wins new orders of Rs.1,159 crore

KEC International Ltd. a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group company, has secured new turnkey orders of Rs. 1,159 crore in its power transmission & distribution (T&D) business across India, Africa, Oceania and Americas.

Key orders received include:

  • 132kV Transmission Line package and associated substations in North Eastern India from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.
  • 225kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line and associated substations in Mali and Senegal
  • 132kV Transmission Line and Substations in Oceania
  • SAE Towers has received various orders in the Americas

  KECVimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd. commented, “We are pleased with the order wins in our core T&D business, especially from PGCIL. With the third order win in Africa, we have further consolidated our presence in the Africa market. The order win in Oceania has expanded our footprint to a new geographical region and will enable us to further strengthen our international presence.  We are confident that with these order wins, we will achieve the projected growth in our T&D business.”

These new orders have taken KEC International’s outstanding order book position to around Rs.18,000 crore.
