Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd [TRIL], in a stock exchange filing, said that it has won an order from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL).
TRIL said that the order worth Rs.108 crore was for the supply of transformers to PGCIL, without giving further details.
This order has taken TRIL’s outstanding order book position as on date to around Rs.1,123 crore, factoring both domestic and overseas orders.
The TRIL stock exchange filing added, “The company continuously thrives to deliver quality products and services and over a period of time has become a leading manufacturer of transformers in the country.”
It may be recalled that in a recent study by T&D India, based on an investor presentation filed by TRIL, showed that TRIL achieved 8 percent physical growth in sales of sub-220kV class transformers, during the first nine months of FY21.
Physical sales of transformers (in MVA) during the first nine months (April to December) of FY21 stood at 6,886 MVA as against 6,374 MVA in the same period of FY20. This represented a growth of around 8 percent. [Read more]
