A wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Ltd has won a 150-mw solar project in Gujarat, under the tariff-based competitive bidding process.

In a stock exchange notification, Adani Green Energy Ltd said that Adani Renewable Energy Holding Fifteen Ltd, its wholly-owned subsidiary, had participated in a tender issued by power utility Torrent Power Ltd for power procurement. This procurement, based on competitive tariff, is to be made through a grid-tied solar photovoltaic project to be set up in Gujarat.

Accordingly, Adani Renewable Energy Holding Fifteen Ltd has been awarded a 150-mw solar power project to be set up in Gujarat. The fixed tariff for this project is Rs.2.22 per kwh, for a period of 25 years. The project is expected to commission by the third quarter of FY23 (which is by December 2023), Adani Green Energy said.
