Apar announces CEO for conductor and telecom businesses

Apar Industries Ltd has announced the new appointment of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company’s conductor and telecommunications businesses.

In a stock exchange filing, Apar said that Manish Agarwal has been designated as “Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Conductor & Telecommunications Businesses” of the company.

The full-time employment takes effect from July 2, 2024, the Apar filing said.

Prior to joining Apar Industries Ltd, he held position of Chief Executive Officer and Whole Time Director at Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd and led the company’s Global Products & Services (GPS) business.

Manish Agrawal is an energy infrastructure specialist with a career spanning 27+ years, the Apar communication noted, adding that as a veteran in power and telecom, Agrawal is a leading voice shaping policy priorities in the manufacturing, specialised EPC and Infrastructure sector.

He is a passionate proponent of disruptive technologies and played a pivotal role in their adoption in transmission sector. He is also a well-regarded champion of key industry matters including Make in India, concession/public-private partnership, rebuild/upgrade of transmission/ distribution infrastructure, massive fiberization and monetisation of power transmission corridors, technology adoption etc, the filing added.
