The combined order book of the cable and conductor business of Apar Industries Ltd crossed Rs.8,300 crore, as of March 31, 2024.

Here are some operational highlights of Apar’s cable & conductor business during the year ending March 31, 2024 (FY24)

Conductors

Cables
  • Revenue from the domestic market was up 45 per cent year-on-year, on the back of higher demand for elastomeric cables finding application in renewables, railways, telecom, etc.
  • Exports made a lower contribution in the company’s revenue from the cables business – 38.3 per cent in FY24 as against 50.8 per cent in FY23 – on account of lower demand from US and Europe.
