Bajel Projects Ltd has announced the winning of a new order related from WR ER Part A Power Transmission Ltd, a TBCB subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL).
In a stock exchange filing, Bajel Projects said that the EPC order, termed as “Transmission Line Package 05” is valued at over Rs.400 crore, going by the company’s classification of an “ultra mega” order.
The EPC order involves three components:
- Bypassing of Raigarh (Tamnar) – Dharamjaygarh (Sec-B) 765kV double-circuit line & Raigarh(Kotra) – Raigarh (Tamnar) 765kV double-circuit line at Raigarh (Tamnar) substation, so as to form Raigarh (Kotra) –Dharamjaygarh (Sec-B) 765kV double-circuit line
- LILO of Dharamjaygarh (Sec-B) – Jharsuguda (Sec-A) 765kV D/c line at Raigarh (Kotra)-II substation
- Raigarh (Tamnar)- Raigarh(Kotra)-II substation 765kV double-circuit line
The order is scheduled for completion in 33 months, the stock exchange filing said.
Earlier orders
It may be mentioned that earlier this month, Bajel Projects announced the winning of two transmission line EPC packages, related to the same project. (Read tndindia.com story dated August 10, 2026)
