Bajel Projects land transmission line orders from PGCIL for interregional-TBCB scheme

Bajel Projects had landed transmission line EPC orders from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) with respect to the latter’s interregional-TBCB project.

In stock exchange disclosures, Bajel Projects said that it has won multiple EPC orders for building transmission lines from PGCIL’s TBCB subsidiary “WR ER Part A Power Transmission Ltd.”

The said subsidiary is implementing and ISTS-TBCB scheme referred to as “WR-ER Interregional network expansion scheme – Part A.”

The orders are:

  1. LILO of Ranchi (New)- New PPSP 400kV double-circuit line at Jamshedpur (New), which includes: (i) Jamshedpur (New) to LILO section towards Ranchi (New)- 400kV D/C (Twin Moose) and (ii) Jamshedpur (New) to LILO section towards New PPSP – 400kV D/C (Twin HTLS)
  2. 765kV double-circuit Raigarh (Tamnar) – Jamshedpur (new) line [Part II]

The first order is scheduled to complete in 27 months, while the second in 33 months. The two orders are collectively valued at over Rs.700 crore, it is estimated.
