CG Power & Industrial Solutions Ltd (CG) has reported a 13 per cent year-on-year growth in order inflows during the third quarter (Q3: October to December) of FY26. CG also received its single-largest order in January 2026.
In a release, CG said that its order inflow in Q3FY26, at Rs.4,096 crore, was 13 per cent higher than in Q3FY26. As of December 31, 2025, the unexecuted order inflow stood at Rs.14,859 crore.
“Orders continued to remain robust, with backlog increasing 66 per cent year-on-year to Rs.14,859 crore, reflecting sustained demand across businesses,” the release said.
CG operates through two main segments – Industrial Systems and Power Systems. While the Power Systems division includes transformers, reactors, switchgear (circuit breakers, instrument transformers and bushings), the Industrial Systems division comprises motors and generators.
The order intake between the two segments was quite equally divided during Q3FY26. However, the Power Systems division accounted for 76 per cent of CG’s unexecuted order book, as of December 31, 2025.
On January 16, 2026, CG secured a Rs.900-crore export order for power transformers from Tallgrass Integrated Logistics Solutions LLC USA, for a large-scale data center project in the United States. This order is the largest-ever single order for CG. This is the largest single order ever won by CG and is a direct export order for the supply of power transformers.
Under the contract, CG will supply power transformers, specifically engineered to meet the stringent reliability, efficiency and uptime requirements of hyper-scale data center applications. This order will be executed over a delivery period of 12 to 20 months.
CG’s consolidated order inflow in Q3FY26 touched Rs.4,372 crore in Q3FY26 with the outstanding order book at Rs.15,753 crore, as of December 31, 2025. The consolidated figure includes CG along with its operating subsidiaries in Sweden, Germany and Netherlands. It also includes operating and non-operating domestic subsidiaries like CG Adhesive Products Ltd, CG Semi Pvt Ltd, G.G. Tronics India Pvt Ltd, Axiro Semiconductor Group, etc.
