PTC India Ltd has announced that Dr Rajib Kumar Mishra has taken over as the Chairman and Managing Director of the company, effective March 29, 2023.
In a release, PTC India said that Dr Rajib Kumar Mishra is a power market veteran with diverse experience in the sector. He is a PhD (Business Admin.) from Aligarh Muslim University. He was accorded Visiting Scholar status by the University of Texas, Austin in 2008 for his Post-doc research. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from NIT, Durgapur and did his Post Graduation from NTNU, Norway under NORAD Fellowship.

Dr Mishra joined PTC Board on February 24, 2015, as Director (Marketing & Business Development). Prior to this, he worked as Executive Director PTC since October 2011 and was responsible for operations, business development, retail & advisory services.
He has professional experience of 38 years. He has also served NTPC and POWERGRID in various capacities. He has authored four books, published by Rupa & Co, and twenty-four technical and management papers, the release added.
