Dynamic Cables receives AERB approval for E-beam facility

Dynamic Cables Ltd has received approval from the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) for putting up an electronic beam (E-beam) facility.

In a release, Dynamic Cables said that the AERB approval is for putting up an E-beam facility at the company’s new plant in Rajasthan.

According to information available, the E-beam facility will be installed at the company’s upcoming greenfield cable manufacturing facility at Reengus in Sikar district, Rajasthan. The plant, for which work started in FY25, intends to produce solar DC cables and is expected to commission by March 2026.

E-beam technology

E-beam (electron beam) technology is used for cross-linking of polymers used in the insulation of cables. This enhances the thermal, mechanical and chemical properties of cables. In practice, such cables (sometimes referred to as “e-beam cables” or “electron beam cross-linked cables”) show improved heat-resistance and higher durability. It may be mentioned that cross-linking of polymers can also be achieved through conventional chemical processes.

HTLS conductor

It may be recalled that in November 2025, Dynamic Cables received approval from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) for manufacturing and supply of ACSR and AL59 conductors at the company’s manufacturing plant at Reengus in Sikar district, Rajasthan.

This approval establishes the company’s manufacturing plant as technically suitable for the production and supply of ACSR and AL59 conductors for PGCIL projects.

The approval is expected to enhance the company’s eligibility for participation in future projects of PGCIL, and may support additional business development opportunities, Dynamic Cables had then announced in a stock exchange filing. The company’s entry in the HTLS conductor segment is a recent development.

Order book

As of December 31, 2025, the outstanding order book of Dynamic Cables stood at Rs.787 crore, up from Rs.721 crore as of September 30, 2025.

Export performance

During the first nine months of FY26 (9M: April to December), Dynamic Cables reported export sales of Rs.72 crore. The company recently received certification for supplying UL 854 standard cables to the US market. This is in addition to UL 44 certification received earlier.

Strong market position

According to Ashish Mangal, Managing Director, Dynamic Cables Ltd, “Our growth in order book demonstrates the continued trust and confidence of our customers, reinforcing our strong market position. Our new plant represents a key pillar of our long-term growth strategy, and we are pleased to announce that the expansion remains on track for completion by the close of FY2026. On the product development front we are happy to announce encouraging development in HTLS conductors to further enhance our product portfolio. With additional manufacturing capacity slated for commissioning, we are well positioned to address rising demand driven by increasing investments in power infrastructure and the renewable energy sector across both public and private markets.”
