Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) recently held the Channel Partners Empanelment Meet (Phase II), in association with GEF6, Asian Development Bank and United Nation Environment Programme.

The second phase of Channel Partners Programme (CPP) seeks support of demand aggregators for its various programmes, some of which are:

  • Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LED for All (UJALA)
  • Street Lighting National Programme
  • Super-Efficient Air-Conditioner Programme (SEAC)
  • National Motor Replacement Programme (NMRP)
  • PNG Cook Stove Program

During the Channel Partner Empanelment Meet, key dignitaries from EESL shared insights about the various benefits of shifting to energy efficiency products.

With CPP-Phase II, EESL aims to increase its turnover from energy efficient appliances to Rs.100 crore in the next one year.

With CPP, the channel partners will be benefited from EESL’s credible market presence, innovative solutions, and expertise in designing, maintaining as well as implementation of energy efficiency projects. EESL aspires to expand the sales network of EESL’s products and services across industries in central and regional markets.

Addressing the meeting, Girja Shankar, Head Corporate Driven Program, stated, “We are approaching the fourth industrial revolution, which signals an urgent need for India to adopt EE appliances. The CPP will bring a paradigm shift in India’s energy consumption patterns by enabling public-private-partnerships in the energy sector. We are grateful to GEF6, ADB and UNEP for their support in implementing this programme.”
