GE Vernova T&D India Ltd witnessed a 41 per cent year-on-year growth in order booking during the third quarter (Q3: October to December) of FY26.

According to an investor presentation, GE Vernova T&D India saw order inflows of Rs.2,936.1 crore in Q3FY26, up 41 per cent from Rs.2,075.8 crore in Q3FY25.

Domestic orders accounted for 86 per cent (or Rs.2,515.3 crore) of the total Q3FY26 inflow.

In the first nine months of FY26 (9M: April to December), the cumulative order inflow, at Rs.6,162.1 crore was, however, lower than the corresponding Rs.7,787.2 crore in 9MFY25. Once again, domestic orders dominated with a share of 85 per cent.

It may be mentioned the large order that the company won from Adani Group, relating to the Khavda-South Olpad HVDC transmission scheme will be booked in subsequent quarters, and has not been included in the Q3FY26 order inflow.

In Q3FY26, major orders clinched by GE Vernova T&D India include:

  • Refurbishment of 2×500-MW Chandrapur HVDC back-to-back station from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL)
  • Supply of 765kV 500 MVA interconnecting transformers (ICT) from PGCIL
  • Supply of 765kV 500 MVA ICTs from a private TBCB player, in Gujarat
  • Supply of 765/400kV AIS equipment and grid automation packages from multiple EPC players
  • Multiple orders for export of AIS/GIS equipment to Europe, Middle East and Africa

Orders in hand

As of December 31, 2025, GE Vernova T&D India’s unexecuted order book position stood at Rs.14,384 crore. This was around 13.6 per cent higher than the order backlog as of FY25 year-end (March 31, 2025).

Private entities accounted for 63 per cent of the company’s order book as of December 31, 2025. Central utilities had a share of 35 per cent, followed by state utilities accounting for around 2 per cent.

Delivering sustainable value

According to Sandeep Zanzaria, Managing Director & CEO, GE Vernova T&D India Ltd, “Our strong Q3 performance reflects India’s fast paced energy transformation, driven by record renewable capacity additions that are reshaping the nation’s power landscape.
