Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd has announced that its corporate name has changed to “Kalpataru Projects International Ltd,” effective May 22, 2023.

An official company release noted that the change in corporate name was formalized following the receipt of approvals from shareholders and regulatory authorities including the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

It may be recalled that the change in corporate name, which has now taken effect, was proposed in a company board meeting of April 10, 2023.

Well-diversified EPC business

Commenting on the name change approval, Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO, KPIL, said “The name change from Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd.(KPTL) to “Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL)” unifies our visibility of well-diversified EPC businesses with an increasing portfolio of global projects. It echoes our commitment to all our stakeholders and our ability to create value while aligning our identity.”
