The power T&D business of KEC International Ltd recorded order inflows of over Rs.3,200 crore in Q1 (April to June) of FY26.
This order inflow (including that of KEC’s international subsidiary SAE Towers) covered domestic orders as well as international orders, especially from Middle East and Americas.
Revenues from the power T&D business stood at Rs.3,157 crore in Q1FY26 – up 26 per cent from those in Q1FY25 and making a 63 per cent contribution to total revenues in Q1FY26.
Speaking of the year-to-date (YTD) performance – from April 1, 2025 to July 28, 2025 – KEC International witnessed order inflow of Rs.5,517 crore in which power T&D accounted for a 59 per cent share.
As of July 28, 2025, the company’s overall order book position was Rs.34,409 crore in which power T&D dominated with a 60 per cent share. Including L1 positions, KEC’s overall order book was over Rs.40,000 crore.
An investor presentation by KEC International noted that strong momentum in power T&D continues, driven by renewable energy growth and opportunities in digital substations, STATCOM, and HVDC technologies, with a promising outlook across regions including the Middle East, Africa, CIS, and the Americas.
According to Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd, commented, “We have started the year on a strong note by delivering a healthy revenue growth, substantial increase in profitability and a reduction in debt levels. Despite headwinds such as persistent manpower shortages and geopolitical uncertainties, we have continued to deliver consistent profitable revenue growth. Profitability has also seen stellar growth, with PBT and PAT both growing by growing by over 40 per cent. The outlook across major businesses remains optimistic. With a strong focus on execution, a robust and diversified order book & L1 of over Rs.40,000 crore and a substantial tender pipeline, we are well positioned to deliver sustained profitable growth in the coming quarters.”
In a release dated July 30, 2025, KEC International reported the winning of new orders worth Rs.1,509 crore. These included power T&D-related mandates such as construction of 400kV Quad lines in India, 500/400/220kV overhead transmission lines in the overseas market, and supply of towers and poles in the Americas and the Middle East.
