KEC International wins orders valued at over Rs.1,000 crore

Global EPC company KEC International Ltd has reported the winning of new orders worth over Rs.1,000 crore.

In a media release, RPG Group company KEC International said that it has won new orders valued at Rs.1,033 crore, across its various businesses.

The Power Transmission & Distribution business has secured various orders of Rs.890 crore. These orders include those from India as well as from overseas locations like Africa, East Asia Pacific and the Americas.

KECCommenting on the new order wins, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd noted, “We are happy with the new order wins amidst global upheavals. Our International order book has strengthened significantly in the last few months especially in the Middle East and Africa regions. In line with our strategy to diversify into new segments, we are pleased with the order win for metro electrification works, which marks our entry into the technologically enabled areas of urban infra.”

The Railways business has landed orders, all from the domestic market, for signaling & telecommunication (S&T) and metro electrification works. The total value of these orders is Rs.79 crore.

The Cable business has won orders worth Rs.64 crore for various types of cables and cabling works, in India and overseas.
