In the Middle East, KEC won Rs.510 crore worth of orders that includes a turnkey order for construction of a 400kV overhead transmission line in UAE.

“With the large order in the UAE, along with recent orders in Oman, Jordan and Egypt, we have significantly diversified our exposure in the key Middle East market,” commented Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd.

SAE Towers, a subsidiary of KEC International, received supply orders from the Americas. KEC also reported Rs.168 crore of orders by the railway business, largely for overhead electrification for various projects in northern India. The cables business, formerly RPG Cables Ltd, secured orders of Rs.92 crore for various types of cables.
