With the winning of new mandates, KEC International has achieved a cumulative order inflow of over Rs.15,000 crore in FY22, so far.

In a release, Mumbai-headquartered KEC International said that it has won new orders valued at Rs.1,131 crore, across its various business, and in multiple geographies.

The power T&D business has secured orders in the Middle East and Americas. The orders in Middle East include maiden orders secured directly by KEC International’s EPC subsidiary in UAE.

“We are witnessing a gradual uptick in the North American T&D market as witnessed by the flow of orders in Americas secured by our subsidiary SAE Towers,” noted Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International.

The Railways business has won an order for 2x25kV overhead electrification (OHE) and associated works for speed upgradation in India.

The Civil business landed orders the cement, residential and public spaces segments in India, while the Cables division (formerly RPG Cables) clinched domestic and overseas orders for  various types of cables.

Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd. commented, “Our order book continues to grow on the backdrop of the orders secured across all our business verticals despite the continuing global headwinds. With these orders, our YTD order intake has crossed Rs.15,000 crore, with a robust growth of around 60 per cent vis-à-vis last year. We are witnessing a gradual uptick in the North American T&D market as witnessed by the flow of orders in Americas secured by our subsidiary SAE Towers.
