Kshema Power bags 400kV transmission line contract in Andhra Pradesh

Chennai-based Kshema Power has secured a contract to build a 400kV transmission line in Andhra Pradesh.
In a release, Kshema Power said that the order valued at Rs.108 crore involves constructing a 42-km transmission line in the Ananthapuram district of Andhra Pradesh, designed to carry electricity from a 1 GW wind farm. The single-circuit line will be installed on double-circuit towers, enabling efficient and reliable power transfer.
Kshema Power’s scope of work includes the entire project lifecycle—from design approval to material procurement, civil construction, tower erection, regulatory clearance management, testing protocols, and final commissioning. The company will deploy expert teams to ensure the project runs smoothly while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality, the release said.
