Kshema Power has landed an order from renewable energy player Oyster Green for putting up a substation in Madhya Pradesh.

In a release, Chennai-based EPC firm Kshema Power said that the order to build a 33/220kV AIS substation was placed by Oyster Green Hybrid Three Pvt Ltd and is associated with the latter’s a 350-MW wind-solar hybrid project in Madhya Pradesh.

Together, the two companies will deliver infrastructure that will enhance clean energy evacuation capacity in one of India’s fastest-expanding renewable corridors.

Under the contract, Kshema Power will undertake the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 51-km transmission line, along with the design, engineering, supply, installation, civil works, testing, and commissioning of the AIS substation.

The installation will serve as the backbone of power evacuation for Oyster Green Hybrid Three’s hybrid project, enabling efficient and reliable integration of wind and solar power into the grid. The project is expected to be completed by July 2026, the release said.

Fully committed

Speaking on the development, Abhinand Basant, Deputy Managing Director, Kshema Power, said, “This order marks an important milestone in our ongoing work in the renewable transmission infrastructure space. It reflects the confidence of industry partners in our technical capability, execution standards and project delivery approach. We see this as an opportunity to build further on our strengths, expand our presence in high-capacity hybrid projects and continue contributing to India’s energy transition. Our teams are fully committed to delivering this project with the reliability and efficiency that our clients expect from us.”

Significant step

Commenting on the partnership, Siddharth Bhatia, Managing Director, Oyster Green Hybrid Three Pvt Ltd, said, “This project is a significant step in strengthening our hybrid renewable energy portfolio and creating infrastructure that supports long-term, reliable power delivery. Our collaboration with Kshema Power reflects a shared commitment to quality, timely execution, and building assets that contribute meaningfully to India’s clean energy landscape. We look forward to executing this project with excellence.”
