LAPP India inaugurates its third and biggest service point

LAPP India has launched its third and biggest service point to provide customised solutions to customers.

Located at Pune in Maharashtra, the facility was inaugurated by Gary Bateman, Managing Director, LAPP India, a company release said. The first two service points of LAPP India are located in Dharuhera (Haryana) and Bengaluru (Karnataka).

 

Fully equipped

The service point is ISO-9001-2015 and ISO-14001-2015 certified and has highly qualified and trained employees to manufacture quality harnessing. It includes the best tools/machines for various operations involved in cable assembly and testing such as cable cutting, stripping, crimping, marking, push pull testing and continuity testing.

The infrastructure capabilities available here include tensile tester, electrical crimping machine, pneumatic crimping fix, pneumatic stripper, inkjet printer, HST cutting machine, battery operated crimping machine, cable cutting machine, cutting and winding machine, pneumatic cutting fix and lead-free soldering.

 

This inauguration is a new milestone in LAPP’s journey of transitioning from a product manufacturer to an end-to-end solution provider, the release said.

Direct engagement

Speaking on the occasion, Gary Bateman, Managing Director, LAPP India said “With this highly enhanced facility, we are looking forward to engaging directly with more of our customers and work closely with them to develop innovative solutions tailored to their specific requirements.We aim to triple the number of our service points in India by 2027 to cater to increasing customer demands.”

 

CoE

As part of other developments, LAPP India had also recently inaugurated its third Center of Excellence (CoE) at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, the release adedd.
