60 GW by 2032

As part of its green energy portfolio augmentation, NTPC aims to build 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032. Currently, the Central PSU has an installed capacity of 66 GW across 70 power projects with an additional 18 GW under construction. This includes all forms of power generation projects—thermal, hydropower and renewables.

Note to readers: It is independently learnt that Talettutayi Solar Projects Nine (SolarArise) won a capacity of 125 mw quoting Rs.2.339 per kwh at the 450-mw RUMSL auction discussed in this story.
