OMRON opens two offices in south India

OMRON Automation, a global advanced industrial automation player, recently opened two offices—at Hyderabad and Coimbatore respectively. With this addition, OMRON now has four offices in southern India and eight offices in total across the country, an OMRON release said.

OMRON HyderabadThe move indicates infrastructure expansion to not only cater to the current associates efficiently but also to strengthen newer business pipelines in the manufacturing regions of Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

“The establishment of offices is a small indicator of OMRON’s steadily growing presence in Southern India. Situated at central locations in Hyderabad and Coimbatore, the facilities aim to bring convenience and help the team propel the brand penetration in the key focus areas – automotive makers, packaging, textile and pharma machine builders and electrical panel control segment by being closer to the potential customers,” according to Sameer Gandhi, Managing Director, OMRON Automation, India, quoted in the release.

Along with eight offices, currently, OMRON Automation’s network comprises of 5 RE locations, 1 automation centre, two repair centres, three training centres, one logistics centre and a workforce of around 190 people spread across the country, the release said.
