Polycab India Ltd has announced the launch of its UT Series 350kW three-phase string inverter. The product has been launched in Tamil Nadu.

Designed for utility-scale solar projects, the new solution is engineered to enhance profitability, grid reliability, and operational efficiency for large installations, a release by Polycab India said.

Building on more than nine years of expertise and over 1.5 GW of solar inverter supplies across India, Polycab’s UT Series inverter is equipped with state-of-the-art safety features, advanced efficiency technologies, and robust weather resilience. The system ensures maximum energy yield from every solar panel while lowering operational costs and enhancing long-term performance.

Polycab’s solar portfolio spans from compact 2kW rooftop units to advanced 350kW systems for utility-scale projects.

Significance of Tamil Nadu

The launch is significant for Tamil Nadu, which continues to lead India’s renewable energy adoption and houses some of the country’s largest solar parks. By bringing this next-generation inverter to the state, Polycab aims to strengthen the performance and longevity of solar installations, enabling faster deployment of utility and large-scale commercial projects, the release noted.

Leading India’s RE journey

Commenting on the launch, Anurag Agarwal, CEO – Global Export and New Businesses, Polycab India Ltd., said, “Tamil Nadu has been leading India’s renewable energy journey, and with the launch of our new utility grade inverter, we have added another milestone to Polycab’s growing solar portfolio. This launch reflects our larger vision of becoming a complete end-to-end partner in India’s clean energy transition, empowering businesses and communities with reliable, efficient, and future-ready solar solutions.”

Widespread presence

With its pan-India dealer network of over 3,800 distributors and 2,05,000+ retail outlets, Polycab is well positioned to scale the adoption of its solar solutions across diverse geographies, furthering its mission to deliver sustainable, safe, and efficient energy networks, the release added.
