The Wire & Cable (W&C) business of Polycab India Ltd recorded a year-on-year revenue growth of 26 per cent during the first half (H1: April to September) of FY26.
In a release, Polycab India said that revenue from its W&C segment touched Rs.10,764.1 crore in H1FY26, up 26 per cent from Rs.8,569.7 crore in H1FY25 with healthy growth across both distribution and institutional businesses.
The fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) business grew 16 per cent year-on-year to Rs.8,89.7 crore in H1FY26 from Rs.767.5 crore in H1FY25, the release said.
On the other hand, the company’s EPC business registered a 19 per cent year-on-year de-growth.
In Q2 (July to September) of FY26, the W&C segment achieved a 21 per cent year-on-year growth, driven by sustained demand momentum across both government and private sectors. An inflationary trend in commodity prices provided an additional boost during the latter part of the quarter. Domestic business also grew 21 per cent year-on-year, with both cables and wires registering strong growth.

We delivered our highest-ever second quarter and half yearly revenue and profitability, reflecting the continued strength of our core Wires & Cables business and the improving traction in the FMEG business. The domestic demand environment remains healthy, supported by government infrastructure spending and improving private capex sentiment, while our international business continues to scale steadily.
