Polycab India Ltd demonstrated its cutting-edge portfolio of power and data transmission products at the Chennai Cloud &Datacenter Convention 2025 – one of India’s most premier platforms focussed on datacenter and cloud infrastructure innovation.

In a release, Polycab said that at the event it highlighted its comprehensive capabilities in facilitating seamless power and data connectivity – crucial for hyperscale data centers, cloud service providers, and enterprise networks.

Featured products included Extra High Voltage (EHV), Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), Control, and Flexible cables, alongside Communication and Optical Fibre Cables (OFC). These solutions are integral to delivering efficiency, reliability, and safety in high-performance digital environments.

India’s data infrastructure sector is witnessing unprecedented growth, driven by rising cloud adoption, AI-led demand, and increased government focus on digital infrastructure.

According to ICRA, India’s operational data centre capacity is expected to increase from approximately 1,150 MW (as of December 2024) to 2,000–2,100 MW by March 2027, requiring an investment of Rs.40,000 crore to Rs.45,000 crore over FY26 and FY27. Additionally, 87 new data centres are projected to come up across the country in the coming years, the release noted.

In this context, Polycab is strategically positioned to support this infrastructure boom with its end-to-end offerings including cables, cable accessories, OFC solutions, cable trays, and lighting systems designed for high-performance, mission-critical environments.

Polycab’s continued participation in key industry platforms reflects its commitment and reinforces its role as a trusted partner in powering India’s digital future. With a robust portfolio spanning both power and data transmission, the brand is uniquely positioned to support the needs of tomorrow’s interconnected world, the release added.
